„Pecor Quattro“, „Pecor Optima“ and „HelCor“ culverts; the slope reinforcement geogrid „Secugrid 120/40 R 6“; Anti-erosion mat „Secumat ES 401 G4“; welded gabions (2.0 x 0.5 x 0.5 m) with zinc and aluminum corrosion-resistant coating.
Designed bicycle-pedestrian path is in Alytus. It begins by merging to the sanatorium ‘s forest path, and then route continues towards the Millennium Bridge and ends at the skiing slope. Location of individual parts of the environment should be aesthetically appealing and represent the area as a tourist site with a lot of unique cultural and historical heritage sites, a kind of landscape, the concept of tidiness. For this reason, and because of large prolonged slopes it was necessary to install embankments with geogrids reinforced slopes. Synthetic mats were used for slopes protection from surface erosion. Forming reinforced slopes to prevent soil releases through the geogrid mesh, in the inner side of the slope non-woven geotextiles were used. Bicycle-pedestrian paths by making a detour on the Millennium bridge, had gabion wall installed as slope decoration. Designed and then installed gabion dimensions – 2.0 x 0.5 x 0.5 m, because of the desired uniform and smooth facade view welded gabions were chosen.
The project was equipped with three 1.6 m diameter metal, one 1.0 m and three 0.6 m diameter HDPE culverts, drainage of the runway, geogrids reinforced embankment which slopes were protected with erosion synthetic mats, gabion retaining walls.
