Waste water treatment plant consists of the following main units:
- mechanical pre-processing unit;
- biological section – SBR reactors;
- sludge dewatering section;
- tertiary treatment section.
Reservoirs made of enamelled steel sheets, under high ground water level, may be overground, i.e. built above the ground.
Mostly due to the environmental requirements waste water treatment plants are required to cover tanks. They have biological air treatment using simple but effective biofilters. Integrated device, a micro sieve, blowers, automation cabinets, dispatch and maintenance staff room are located in a separate building.
