The tanks are exceptionally light; no heavy machinery is needed on-site. This ensures cost-effective handling and transportation. As for the labour costs, a team of regular workers with only one experienced supervisor is sufficient for the assembly. The installation process is swift and may only take one day for small applications.
The installation of underground reservoirs significantly shortens the construction time, as these tanks are relatively light, the elements can be of long length, and no load-distribution plate is required. Longer elements can be coupled together to form solid tanks of the required design volume.
CO2 emissions, energy and water consumptions are quite low. Steel is also environmentally friendly as it is 100% reusable. If stormwater is collected in the right way, it is also reusable. Finally, the lightness of the steel means quick installation of the pipes and minimal pollution of the area.
